About Me

Imagine That! Pottery Werks was started purely by accident.  I took a clay handbuilding class with my two younger children and fell.in.love. with pottery.  I couldn't keep my mind off of it.  So I decided to figure out how to get my own kiln, which would enable me to create at my own pace.  Once I had the kiln, it snowballed into this wonderful, exciting, business.  And now that I have dipped my feet in the ceramic pool, so to speak, I am dedicated and excited to see where this adventure takes me and my family.

I currently offer two kinds of classes in my home studio:

The first is a two-part class called Clay Handbuilding.  In this class you create a work of art with your hands and a bit of clay.  Then after it had been fired, you come back to paint your masterpiece.

The second class I offer is Paint-a-Piece.  You can choose a piece of bisqueware either from my online store before your class or from my studio inventory on the day of your class.  Either way, you can make something memorable for yourself, or an individualized gift for a loved one.
